★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na jižních svazích pod hradem Špilberk ve středu Brna byla v historických dobách vysázena vinice hned několikrát. Poprvé ji nechali vysadit brněnští měšťané již na počátku 13. století. Soumrak vinohradu nastal během období, kdy Špilberk sloužil jako věznice a svahy pod hradem byly vyklučeny. Vinná réva tu rostla ještě na konci 19. století, místo však zpustlo a vinice zanikla. Teprve na jaře roku 2014 se skupině nadšenců z občanského sdružení "Vinice na Špilberku" podařilo vinici částečně obnovit.
On the southern slopes below the Špilberk Castle in the center of Brno, vineyards were planted several times in historical times. For the first time, Brno burghers had it planted at the beginning of the 13th century. Twilight of the vineyard occurred during the period when Špilberk served as a prison and the slopes below the castle were grubbed up. The vines grew here at the end of the 19th century, but the place was abandoned and the vineyard disappeared. Only in the spring of 2014 the group of enthusiasts from the civic association "Vineyard at Špilberk" managed to partially restore the vineyard.
