Klimenta. V kapli se konají výstavy a koncerty. The Italians began to settle in Prague sometime in the middle of the 16th century. In 1573 the Wallachian Congregation was established. The Italian colony grew especially during the reign of Rudolf II, who provided work to skilled craftsmen, painters and builders. The Italian Lesser Town community has decided to build it´s own sanctuary in addition to the hospital in the foothills of Prague´s Castle. A simple Mannerist oval building with a dome built in 1590-97 by Domenico Bossi according to the O. Mascarin project. It was consecrated in 1600. The interior is furnished in baroque style. The entrance portico from F.M. Kaňka (1715) with beautiful forged grilles is also the entrance to the neighboring church of St. Kliment. Nowadays the exhibitions and concerts are held in the chapel.

Klimenta. V kapli se konají výstavy a koncerty. Ideální prostor pro modlitbu v centru Prahy.
The chapel, a simple mannerist oval building with a dome, was built in 1590–97 by D. Bossi according to a design by O. Mascarin for the needs of Italians settled in Prague (hence the name Vlašská). The elliptical floor plan of the chapel documents a great transformation of time - a retreat from rational Renaissance thinking, reflected in the circular ground plan of Renaissance buildings, into a more sensual Baroque view symbolized by a more dynamic and different ellipse acting from every angle; Thanks to this symbolism, the Wallachian Chapel is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Europe. The interior is Baroque. The entrance portico by F. M. Kaňka (1715) with beautiful forged bars is also the entrance to the neighboring church of St. Klimenta. Exhibitions and concerts take place in the chapel. Ideal place for prayer in the center of Prague.
