Můj muž označil rybník za hnusný, ale on jenom neláká ke koupání, ale za to je plný života - ryb, ptáků, hmyzu. Bylo zajímavé pozorovat labuť, která hledá potravu pod hladinou, vážky dovádějicí v rákosí nebo černé lysky potápějící se do hloubky. Je o prostě výhled na živý rybník. Své jméno získala pravděpodobně podle lidového zvyku shazování figuríny Smrti do rybníka na počátku jara. Z vrcholu pískovcové skály s vytesanými schody je krásný výhled na plochu Koňského rybníka. Koňský rybník náleží k soustavě Holanských rybníků a je vhodný ke koupání. Místo je klidné, příjemné, jen vyjíždění vozidlem na hlavní silnici může být vcelku nebezpečné. The Smrtka rock lookout rises above the Koňský pond near Stvolínek. It is located on a red marked hiking trail. It probably got its name from the folk custom of dropping the Death figurine into a pond in early spring. From the top of the sandstone rock with carved stairs is a beautiful view of the Koňský rybník. Koňský rybník belongs to the system of Dutch ponds and is suitable for swimming. The place is quiet, pleasant, just driving on the main road can be quite dangerous.

Skálu lze vyšplhat až nahoru, ale hrozně to klouzalo a ani se zabudovaným lanem na podporu jsem tam nalezla. Přesto i z nižších pater jsou krásné výhledy. K vyhlidce se dostane od hlavni silnice, kde sjedete a u cesty je par mist na zaparkovani. Drzte se cervene turisticke stezky. Opacnym smerem po cervene je velmi pekna prochazka podel falsich rybniku ke kamennemu mostu. A small view at the pond system. Drive died here during the spring ritual.
