★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We finished a fantastic 5 hour tour thru the town of Prague. Sylvie's knowledge and her ability to teach while visiting sacred areas was unbelievable! Thanks for making our day so special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very moving tour of the Jewish Quarter in Prague. Our guide was very knowledgeable; she is an active member of the Jewish community.
There were Jews and non-Jews in our group of 12 and I think everyone came away knowing much more about Jewish history, religion, and culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went on the Jewish quarter tour and was quite disappointed. The tour involved visits to 4 synagogue museums and cemetery. The tour itself might be fine, but the tour guide was uninspiring. A few things that bothered me but might not bother others: no introductions of her own or others' Jewish history, long commentary before going into each synagogue and then multiple commentaries inside each synagogue, and very little real Jewish culture (I feel like I learned more about architecture). I don't have family from the Czech Republic, but I do have family who went through Terezin. I can't imagine how disappointing this tour would be for someone whose family was from Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wittman tours does a fantastic job of sharing with you the background, history and details of the journey of the Prague Jewish community before and during WWII. It begins in Prague at the Old Railway station where the Jews were “transported” to Terezín. Jonas was our tour guide and was so passionate about this history and so respectful of that solemn place. This is a tragedy that should never be forgotten and the Jewish History Society have done a great job of maintaining this town so that generations to come will not forget. Thank you for a humbling, memorable day. A must see when in Prague.
