Situace byla stále horší, například v roce 1793 se muselo do jedné místnosti stěsnat takřka sto dětí. Roku 1801 zde byla konečně postavena první vlastní školní budova. I ta ale začala být brzy nedostačující a musela být přestavěna. Od roku 1993 má zdejší škola novou a krásně pestrobarevnou fasádu, jejíž barevné zpracování si navrhly samy děti.
