Renovated nice building, and with the people in the office I never had any problem, on the contrary, we always went out to accommodate

I don't know the municipal office, but the mayor does, and in Pernštejn they are lucky to have such a helpful and great mayor!

18. století přineslo rozvoj papírenského a drátenického průmyslu. K rozvoji zdejšího průmyslu napomohlo i prodloužení železnice z Prahy přes Chomutov až do Chebu (1871). We are not sure, when exactly the settlement Perštejn was founded, but it is certain that its origin is closely related to the castle Perštejn, according to which it got its name. The first written mention of the castle dates back to 1344. From the 16th century, iron ore from the surrounding mines was processed in Perštejn. Between 1633 - 1645 the village was repeatedly ambushed and looted by Swedish soldiers. The 18th century brought the development of the paper and wire industry. The extension of the railway from Prague through Chomutov to Cheb (1871) also helped to develop the local industry. Perštejn became a popular resort, which continues today.
