Za správy panství Jakubem Heřmanem Černínem z Chudenic přestavěl italský architekt Giovanni Alliprandi v letech 1703 - 1709 tvrz na čtyřkřídlý barokní zámek, ke kterému patřila rozsáhlá obora a park. Roku 1710 J. Černín zemřel a jeho srdce bylo uloženo do kovové truhlice a zazděno v chrámu Nalezení sv. Kříže v Kosmonosích. Dalšími majiteli se stávají Hrzánové z Harrasova a poté italský hrabě Jozef Bolza. Další přestavba, tentokráte v empírovém duchu, proběhla v roce 1836 za hraběte Gottharda Mirbacha. V interiéru se zachoval zrcadlový sál s rokokovými zrcadly a stropem vyzdobeným freskovou figurální malbou s mytologickým námětem. V roce 1932 se majitelem stává město Kosmonosy, které v objektu zřizuje školu. Between 1560 and 1570, Adam Krajíř of Krajek built a Renaissance fortress on the site of today's chateau as a replacement for his already unsatisfactory castle in Mladá Boleslav. During the administration of the estate by Jakub Heřman Černín of Chudenice, the Italian architect Giovanni Alliprandi rebuilt the fortress into a four-winged Baroque chateau between 1703 and 1709, which included an extensive game reserve and park. In 1710 J. Černín died and his heart was placed in a metal chest and walled up in the Church of the Finding of St. Crosses in Kosmonosy. The other owners are the Hrzán family from Harrasov and then the Italian count Jozef Bolza. Another reconstruction, this time in the Empire style, took place in 1836 under Count Gotthard Mirbach. The interior preserves a mirrored hall with rococo mirrors and a ceiling decorated with a fresco figural painting with a mythological theme. In 1932, the town of Kosmonosy became the owner, which established a school in the building.

Dnes je v části i muzeum. Prudce se rozvjející město má i novou školu, ale dětí je hodně. Úplná rekonstrukce vč. interieru a prohlídka zámku je v nedohlednu.
