About Žebírkov
Vše začalo
u AdamaBiblický příběh o tom, jak bůh stvořil Evu z žebra Adamova zná asi každý. Žebro mělo od nepaměti velký význam nejen v rovině křesťanské, ale i v oblasti gastronomie. Žebra jako pokrm mají svůj původ v karibiku, odkud spolu se španělskými dobyvateli putovaly do severní ameriky.
I přesto, že se se jejich obliba později rozšířila do Evropy a zbytku světa, jejich tradice zůstala nejvíce zakořeněná v americké kultuře. My v Žebírkově tuto tradiční americkou pochoutku posouváme dál a přeneseně také navazujeme i na příběh o žebru Adamovu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The day that we went the menu was very limited for some reason. The food was great, they certainly know how to make ribs and other meat there, which is great because it's their selling point. However the ambience wasn't great. The waiter wasn't best pleased to have customers and the TV blaring a local TV show made it difficult to sit back and relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice personnel and location. We ordered two rump steaks medium/rare. Mine was perfect, red-isch in colour with perfect texture. But my baked potato was more like potato wedges, not bad but not what I ordered. However my friends meat, also medium/rare, was more like medium/well. A bad piece of meat or uneven performance in the kitchen? That’s for you to discover! For me it was a good place overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an excellent meal. They have a large selection of meat from pork to chicken. I tried beef steak and it was cooked just as I wanted and was very delicious. Service was great. Prices are also very good. I will definitely come again and give other dishes a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made order and it was bad, but pretty fast. Looked like wings and pork ribs were cooked in advance and then just reheated. ;(
Wings had weird smell like liquid smoke and were bitter to taste. Very unfortunate. Spent almost 1000 kc for almost no value. Not recommending to order delivery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can get an entire meat platter with chips, bread and dips for 1000kc that feeds 3-4 people. I think it's a very, very generous portion for the price and it's all extremely delicious. There are also cheaper or more expensive platters available depending on your party size.
Really can't recommend this place enough. Just a shame it's kind of in the middle of nowhere in Prague, but more people should know the existence of this place!
