★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a guided tour by a young monk with excellent English. He told us about some of the crucial history of the monastery and opened up doors to let us in places such as the upstairs gallery in the main church with great viewpoint. Very ornate.
Also a creditable brewery on site with glass and samples as part of package.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for a week on a conference and it was a great experience. The room was excellent with a comfortable bed, large well equipped bathroom, all very clean. The food in the restaurant was very good and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the beers on offer as well. The history of the monastery and peaceful atmosphere also added to the experience. Would love to return one day
