If during the week, watch out for school groups as sometimes they can get wilder than the animals ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids and adult! Many quite corners where you can relax and be out of crowded touristic routs. There is everything for comfort - Café, wc, playgrounds for kids, parking. You will enjoy not only animals but also nature! Pay attention to Japanese garden!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Zoo! New adventure is waiting for you on every corner. Moreover, Zamek Lesna is breathtaking place full of interesting history. The only negative experience were the toilets as well as the description of the animals that was only in the czech language ? otherwise I trully recommend this Zoo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best zoo I ever visited. They have a lot of animals and playgrounds for all ages. The castle is absolutely beautiful in and out.There is plenty space to park your car for a fee of 20 czk/h.Also if you will come in May you will feel like in a botanical garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful zoo that is spread apart with lots of walking involved. Lots of variety of animals. It’s great that the signs were in Czech and English. I especially enjoyed seeing the giraffes and monkeys. The area for elephants is huge so they have so much space to roam about in the wilderness. I loved the rose garden surrounding the gators. The outside of Lešná Castle was nice but I did not get a chance to go inside. It was so relaxing sitting in the Japanese zen garden with beautiful sculpture and plants.
