I love this Zoo!! Definitely the most beautiful Zoo I’ve visited so far. Zoo also offers an amazing view, if you’re at the highest point. From there, you can go down via a funicular. Entrance fee is also really low, around 6 euros for students!

As the 4th best Zoo I had good expectations about this place. Normally I hate Zoo's (at least, most in Holland) because of the lack of/old space for the animals. In the case of Zoo Praha, I was so relieved to see how beautiful the animal spaces were; big, being cared for, renewed and such. The animals looked great! There are a lot of species who are on the Red List of Extinction, it made you so aware. Also SO much love for the giraffe area, which is amazingly big! Plus, some area's even have 2 parts so the animals have more variation of environment. I only feel like the bird cages can again be bigger, it does not seem like they can get enough exercise in there. The crowd however, was really bad. I do not appreciate it when people push their baby stroller into my legs. Or when I want to turn around and being stuck between a sudden 'parking lot' of them. Parents and small kids taking pictures with flash at vunerable creatures where it's forbidden to take pictures, parents and kids crossing the DANGEROUS line of a eating lion to be in front, knocking on windows of resting animals, grabbing at flying bats. It really felt like this was the place to go when you do not want to watch your kids and to have an excuse to be antisocial/disrespectful because of that. A lot of respect for the employees who protected the environment instead.

It is one of the best Zoo's we had ever been to. We saw here all sorts of animals, species starting from Africa like the elephants and giraffes, and ending on the other side of the globe, with penguins, seals and polar bears... We also saw a rare endangered species here, the Shoebill, which was incredible, we didn't think he could be real.. so awesome ! Take a whole day when you plan to visit this place... Enjoy the day, check the schedules for buses and for the attractions there, there are feeding times and shows there. We missed a few.. but we would go back there again, to enjoy everything and not to do it in such a hurry. We've spent only 6 hours here and this is our only regret ! You have places to eat cheap or mid-expensive, to buy water and plenty of bathrooms ( some are ok, clean and stocked with all the toiletries needed, others not so much ), but this didn't stopped us in having a great time here !

One of my favourite zoos in Europe! You can see and observe some really rare animals and the whole park is really pretty. You spend about 3-4 hours there at average to see everything. My highlight are the giant tortoises. They truly are amazing creatures.

At the moment, indoor exhibits are all closed. However, that means the zoo is cheaper and you can see all of it in 3-4 hours. Prague zoo is on three levels and you will be going up and down hills quite a lot. I'm looking forward to coming back to see the rare parrot exhibition when I can.

It is a super amazing place! The price is 250cz but it is worth every penny. The territory is extremely large and i suggest to spend the whole day there - up to 6 hours for sure! Take your time and visit every corner of it. You can read and learn lots of info about animals, see them in there close-created natural habitat. The zoo has lots of benches to sit on and relax enjoying nature, also there are many cafes to eat, fast-food carts, vending machines - so you won't be hungry, also many free wc's.

Absolutely breathtaking! I’m from the Caribbean so my exposure to animals is pretty small. I pleasantly surprised and somewhat overwhelmed by the different kinds of animals here. The park is big. We were there about over 2 hours and we didn’t get to see all the exhibits. If you love animals, definitely set aside 3 hours or more. If you get hungry/thirsty along the way, there’s restaurants along with vending machines along the way. Definitely a unique experience!
