Apparently someone had extinguished it badly, but it looked as if someone was hiding at the last minute. I immediately remembered a few horror movies ... :-)) Originally, only a wooden chapel stood on the site of today's church, which was replaced in 1667 by a single-nave Baroque pilgrimage church. After the Josephine church reforms, the church was closed in 1786 and officially removed from office by imperial decree. A few years after this act, the church premises were used as a granary. After 1870, the considerably damaged roof was demolished and all the preserved inventory was sold at auction. Even now I have goose bumps when I remember it. It was built in 1667 on the site of an older chapel, closed during the Josephine reforms in 1786 and used as a granary. The furniture was sold out, the statue of the Virgin Mary was transferred to the Church of the Holy Trinity in Zdoňov. Despite the official abolition, the church was still in the 19th century. used occasionally, but due to high maintenance costs, but gradually fell into disrepair and in 1870 it was definitively closed, the roof was demolished and the equipment sold at auction. You can walk to the church along the yellow tourist sign between the villages of Adršpach and Zdoňov about 3 km. From the chapel on the yellow route, an unmarked steep path leads to the ruins. Bare perimeter walls have been preserved. The building is overgrown with forest. The place is interesting and worth seeing.
