Jedná se o raně gotickou trojlodní baziliku s pětiboce uzavřeným vyvýšeným presbytářem. Uprostřed západního průčelí je bohatý, raně gotický lomený portál s hlubokým ostěním a bohatým rostlinným dekorem, s románskými prvky. Portál vznikl kolem roku 1270 a je vzácnou sochařskou památkou. Po stranách vstupního portálu stojí čtyři barokní sochy benediktinských světců z roku 1770, zcela vlevo kamenný misijní kříž z roku 1790, přenesený sem v roce 1958 z náměstí. Kostel v 15. století vyhořel a přestavbou v letech 1716–1723 byl částečně zbarokizován. The Parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was founded shortly after 1253 and was completed around 1294. It is an early Gothic three-aisled basilica with a pentagonal closed presbytery. In the middle of the western façade there is a rich, early Gothic broken portal with deep lining and rich plant decor and with Romanesque features. The portal was created around 1270 and is a rare sculpture monument. On the sides of the entrance portal there are four Baroque statues of Benedictine saints from 1770 and a stone missionary cross from 1790 on the far left, brought here in 1958 from the square. The church burnt down in the 15th century and was partially rebuilt in Baroque style in the years 1716-1723. Navzdory tomu je kostel krásně opravený a stojí za návštěvu. Nice church with adjacent monastery, where you can find an exhibition of paintings. The deprived state of the monastery is a pitiful sight. Despite this, the church is beautifully repaired and worth a visit.
