Z	Zdeňka Č on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zajímavá malá zřícenina. Vstup volný. Výhled odtud je omezen vzrostlými stromy, takže je vidět jen část kostela a kláštera a pár domku v městečku. Je to ale jen malá část co Rabštejn nabízí. Městečko už objevily davy turistu. Na naučné stezce byl klid. Interesting small ruin. Free entry. The view from here is limited by mature trees, so you can see only part of the church and monastery and a few houses in the town. But it is only a small part of what Rabštejn offers. The town has already been discovered by crowds of tourists. There was peace on the nature trail.

První písemná zmínka o hradu pochází z roku 1439, ale založen byl nejspíše za vlády Karla IV. rabštejnským purkrabím Jindřichem z Rabštejna, kterému král daroval vesnice Kotaneč a Hrádek. V roce 1439 sloužil jako sídlo Janovi z Rabštejna a jeho potomci jej vlastnili do roku 1508. V tom roce hrad získal Kryštof z Gutštejna, ale už v následujícím roce jej král Vladislav Jagellonský zkonfiskoval a připojil k Rabštejnu. V roce 1518 Rabštejn od krále Ludvíka Jagellonského získali Šlikové, kteří Sychrov ponechali svému osudu. Jako hrad je naposledy zmiňován v roce 1523 a roku 1560 se uvádí už jenom jako hradiště. The first written mention of the castle dates back to 1439, but was probably founded during the reign of Charles IV. Rabštejn's burgrave Jindřich of Rabštejn, to whom the king donated the villages of Kotaneč and Hrádek. In 1439 it served as the seat of John of Rabstejn and his descendants owned it until 1508. In that year the castle was acquired by Christopher of Gutstejn, but already the following year, King Vladislav Jagiellon confiscated it and joined Rabstejn. Š	Šárka Maroušová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Večer tu posedávaly dvojice, ano, výhled na Rabštejn, ale i přilehlé okolí je dechberoucí. Ráno jsem si tu mohla výhledu užívat sama. Dochovaná a několik částí obvodových zdí, další části je možné naleznout u kláštera. In the evening, couples sat here, yes, the view of Rabštejn, but also the surrounding area is breathtaking. In the morning I could enjoy the view alone. Preserved and several parts of the perimeter walls, other parts can be found at the monastery.
