Mne nevadí, že toto nie je miesto pre rozhľad po okolí, toto miesto má práve svoje čaro v tom, ako je teraz skryté . Ani mi nevadí, že sa toto miesto stalo obľúbeným pre možnosť posedenia pri ohni. Vadia mi ľudia, čo nemajú rešpekt k takýmito miestam a nechajú po sebe neporiadok. Mne sa tu páčilo, pekné miesto, opatrne popri alebo na ruinách, hlavne s deťmi... I liked it here, a nice place, carefully next to or on the ruins, especially with children ...
M	MATRIX on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historicky celkem nezajímavé (kartouzy tu byly necelých 40 let). Rozhled po okolí přes stromy žádný. Pokud sem jedete autem, tak zaparkovat se dá nedaleko u Taverny Dionýsos. Místo je dostupné i na kole a nahoru to není moc fyzicky náročné. Historically quite uninteresting (Carthusians have been here for less than 40 years). View of the surroundings through the trees none. If you come here by car, you can park nearby at the Dionysus Tavern. The place is also accessible by bike and upstairs it is not very physically demanding.
F	Filip Grygera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Výjimečné místo, které dýchá historií. Nesouhlasím s hodnocením Petra Tomáška. Kartouz bylo v českých zemích velmi málo, takže je to výjimečná památka. V Praze na Smíchově po ní zůstal jen název ulice (Karouzská). V Brně-Králově Poli je kartuziánský klášter architektonicky relativně zachovaný, ale přestavěný, slouží VUT. Z kartouzy v Dolanech zůstaly základy a části zdí a dá se z nich vysledovat rozmístění staveb. Kartouzy byly na rozdíl od jiných klášterů sestavené z řady jednotlivých domků, dnes bychom řekli typových nebo řadových, z nichž každý obýval jeden řeholník. Měl tam i vlastní zahrádku. Domky byly uspořádané do čtverce, takže jako by uzavíraly rajský dvůr typický pro jiné kláštery. Domky doplňoval kostel. An exceptional place that breathes history. The foundations and parts of the walls remained from Dolany's cardas and the location of the buildings can be traced. Unlike other monasteries, the Carthusians were composed of a number of individual houses, today we would say type or row, each of which was inhabited by a monk. He had his own garden there. The cottages were arranged in a square, so as if they were closing a paradise typical of other monasteries. The houses were complemented by a church.

E	Eva Jordan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opravdu nádherné místo, které najdete na odbočce modré turistické značky vedoucí z Dolan na ostrohu nad obcí. Cestou vás provede křížová cesta. Kartouzský klášter tu neměl dlouhého trvání, protože již v roce 1437 jej olomoučtí koupili a nechali zbourat. Opakovaně si v něm totiž husité vytvořili vojenské opevnění a odtud napadali Olomouc. Odhalené základy kláštera jsou sice zarostlé v lesní zeleni, ale viditelné, krásně jsou vidět i valy vytvořené na obranu místa. Velmi krásné místo. Dnes je zřícenina odhalená a jsou v ní snadno rozpoznatelné stěny kostela, klášterních i hospodářských budov a četných součástí stavby. Ke zřícenině vede naučná a křížová cesta z obce Dolany. Klášter nabízí příjemné místo na procházku a odpočinek. The nearly 600-year-old ruins of the Carthusian monastery were discovered during an archaeological survey in the 20th century. Today, the ruins have been uncovered and the walls of the church, monastery and farm buildings and numerous parts of the building are easily recognizable. An educational and Stations of the Cross from the village of Dolany leads to the ruins. The monastery offers a pleasant place to walk and relax.
