★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean room and area, very helpful people at the reception. This I really recommend and we loved it! BUT ... extremely unkind waiter at the restaurant who seemed to be very unhappy to serve our table. First he did not want to make an effort to recommend us any wines, then said “take your hands away” when picking the plate from my friend, with no “excuse me”, “please” or whatever else that would make this phrase at least nice in 1%. After the main course, he did not even come back to ask if we would like to have any coffee or a dessert (I guess because it was 20 minutes to closing time). Not even mentioning he was walking around with the box of breakfast cereals that are served to the guests in the morning, and eating them straight from the box with his bare hands. After all of that however, he has not seen anything wrong in asking us DIRECTLY for the tip and was super surprised when we told him “no”, since this is not a service you expect from a place like this. I don’t know what was the reason behind his behavior (maybe the fact we are polish, that we came to the restaurant at 9PM or something else), but If you want to make this restaurant to look as “exclusive” as intended, make sure you hire people with right attitude, basic culture and propriety.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good base for a stay in Špindlerův Mlýn. Not far from Labská slope, with a skibus connection to Hromovka and Medvědín. Good food. Nice view from the terrace. A bit worse price / performance ratio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've booked this hotel for just 3 days but it was great stay. The rooms were nice & clean, the swimming pool was great relax after a day of skiing ( and empty on our stay ). The staff - well they are true treasure, both helpful and polite. And helped us a lot in our emergency situation - our car has failed on us, and they helped arrange mechanic/towing for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel Location Great, rooms nice and fairly well equipped. Reception staff helpful but generally the level of service pretty low for a hotel of such standing. Also, the restaurant is not very nice, quality of food and service overall very poor. Breakfast very poorly restocked and generally not of great quality. We don’t recommend eating in the hotel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The great hotel - modern with a top level services. Breakfast is rich and tasty, restaurant menu is fantastic. I would like to highlight the people, working in the hotel. All are very helpful and nice. Special thanks to the chief cook, lady from the restaurant and a guy, working on the hotel car (sorry, I didn't get the names) for the help to get my stuck car from the snow!
I will come back again.
