Výklenková kaple je stejného typu jako proslulé kaple staroboleslavské poutní cesty. K její obnově došlo roku 1807, v roce 1987 byly opraveny fresky, zatím poslední velká rekonstrukce v letech 2018 - 2019 pořád probíhá, úprav by se mělo dočkat i bezprostřední okolí kaple. The chapel was built by the Charles University in Prague and it was finished in 1757. The chapel was allegedly built in memory of the Battle of Štěrboholy on 6 May 1757. It was restored in 1807, the frescoes were repaired in 1987, the last major reconstruction in 2018 - 2019 is still ongoing, during which even the immediate surroundings of the chapel should be modified.
