★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here almost every day and i see why. Probably the best groceries store in such centre as it's right next to Karlův most. Great prices, staff can't speak english though. Just a normal store in the middle of tourist-pocalypse. Enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without doubt a male member of staff that works there must be the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. We selected three items and made a note of the price before we got to the till. The man who was working on the till, completely ignored us and continued to have a very lengthy conversation with a female customer. Several minutes past and when he eventually deemed to serve us the prices he tilled up were completely different to the prices displayed. I questioned this and although tried to ignore me I could see his anger towards me. I went back to the shelf, took off the price ticket to show him. With that he re-scanned the item, I see now that they were incorrectly priced on the shelf.
His attitude was disgusting, maybe he doesn't like tourists, who knows. But I am sure tourists spend a lot of hard earned money in that shop. He is hardly a good ambassador for the store or the country.
He is the rudest Czech I have ever met and my family are Czech so it displeases me to say this.
Since I wrote this review I have contacted the store direct and without doubt the manager/owner has dealt with my complaint. He has kept me informed of the actions he has taken to stop this problem occurring again. I found him to be most helpful and would definitely shop there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ USA review: For the location there’s a decent (small) selection of basic groceries at prices a little high. Don’t try to speak English to the staff, just put your items down for checkout and quickly/quietly hand over the money. In the immediate area, it’s the best grocery store around. The closest ‘normal’ grocery store by our standards is a Billa that’s about 1 mile away by walking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Common food for snack can be bought here. If you are local, it is only shop you care for in crowded turist center. If you are a tourist you can get a taste of an ordinary shop.

And yes, it is not an organic market, but it is a good medium-mart (too big for a mini-mart).
