In front of it, an outside gate was built 11 meters away, which was demolished in 1837. The original wicket was a small tower building, it´s remnant today is a semicircular vaulted passage through the fortification wall of two meters wide masonry. Part of the gate is still preserved house of the gate-guard (no. 56).
