Nowadays, a nice tram stop below the impressive monumental staircase to the Letná plain. In the past a terrible climb to the base of the greatest mass murderer of modern history. Stalin's monument was the largest sculptural group in Europe between 1955 and 1962. It was built in honor of the Soviet leader Josif Vissarionovitch Stalin during the post-war cult of personality.

Relatively inconspicuous tram stop without a waiting area, without digital displays and without ticket machines. The tram stops in the middle of the street, to the left and right of it there is a lane where cars drive, so somewhat uncomfortable for getting in and out. Tram stop is right in front of Letnapark / ascent to the metronome. In the direction of travel west you get to Prague Castle.

The Park that surrounds the Metronome is delightful. However the steps up to the metronome are littered with rubbish and broken glass and graffitti everywhere, At the top there are some interesting boards to read. It also looks as if the local skate boarders have broken up steps to make jumps etc. It is a real shame as the views of the city and river are excellent. Red Squirrels can also be spotted in the grounds.
