★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the statues of the ladies on the sides even though some part of it is under construction or more like temporarily fixed with metal structure and water tanks to prevent any mishaps. Otherwise it has a great view of the Metronome and the boats crossing under it.

The bridge connects the Prague districts and the Old Town. It is an arch bridge, crossing over the Vldava River, and it is named after a writer Svatopluk Cech.
Walking from the Prague districts, reaching the end of the first arch on the right side, you can a bronze statue of a lady holding two torches. Unfortunately, I have no idea the history of this statue.
It is important to take care while using the bridge on foot, as it is used by tramways, cars and pedestrians.
