A very beautiful building, especially for a post office. A line was very quick and the service was great. The clerk spoke perfect English and helped me send parcels and postcards to 6 different countries with no complaints.

There is no way of knowing how long is the waiting time. They even intentionally scramble the numbers so you can't find out so you wait over half an hour instead just visit next time. Its very disrespectful approach to my time.

Don’t go here if you don’t speak Czech. No one will want to help you, they continue to speak Czech to you as if you would magically absorb the language and start speaking it, the few people speaking English are so rude I can’t even understand how it’s acceptable.

I believe it's one of the biggest and the most beautiful post office in Prague opened almost the whole day. It is built in neo-renaissance style with wonderful painting decoration and glass roof. They have a lot of staff on the shift so waiting period is a pretty short and every time I was lucky enough to have a nice employee who helped me.

We went there to send stuff home that exceeded luggage space. The ticket counters have a customer-oriented UI in four languages, very helpful and trust-building. The 1st clerk discovered we took the wrong ticket nonetheless ? and with us not speaking Czech and her only speaking Czech she immediately used Google Translate to give us further instructions. The 2nd clerk was very eager to collect info what size of parcel was needed, provided us bubble wrap, a tape, a scissor and a very detailed shipping form. We were wrapping our stuff when the “concierge” of the large office hall showed up. His name was Jaroslav and not only was he able to speak a little English but he managed help to to fill out the form, to show how the parcel must be taped the Czech way, to recollect the unused material. He did this to all of the customers in the hall, had a hello and a warm smile for everybody, patiently explained what to do and swiftly organised pens, forms and other stuff. I think, he will be underpaid for how much his efforts help the office running smoothly and make customers feel comfortable and easy. Finally, the 2nd clerk picked up the parcel and was very determined to double-check required shipping information before she closed the procedure. All in all this was a very good customer experience of highest service quality. No automated bulls*hit, no unfriendliness, no flaws in the process. Děkuju!

Not at all prepared to handle English speakers, which is stunning for a service that is obviously important for immigrants and tourists. I was "helped" by a woman who actually screamed at me, multiple times, for not understanding what she said in Czech. Not an exaggeration. Just the most disrespectful, childish behavior. When she wasn't screaming, she would make a show out of sighing and acting frustrated that I was so unwilling to instantly become fluent in her language. Sorry about that! Then I paid 1000 CZK to deliver two pages to my country and left, feeling very blessed to be a tourist in Prague.

Communication in English was minimal but very efficient. I probably stood out as a tourist with my giant backpack so a staff member approached me and asked if I wanted to buy stamps (which I did). He was very observant too and noticed when I was looking for the postal boxes to send off my postcards and just guided me straight to one of the counters. The postal office is housed in a large, beautiful building and is very well organised. There are chair and desk to write too.
