Beautiful gothic temple, unfortunately can only be visited during worship.

The Church of St. Giles is a Gothic church in Dolní Dvořištiv, district of Český Krumlov, dedicated to St. Giles. It belongs to the most important buildings of the Rosenberg late Gothic and also to the buildings of the top South Bohemian late Gothic architecture. Church of St. Jiljí became the dominant feature of the town and also an important monument of the South Bohemian region. Since 1958, it has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The first documented evidence of the existence of the Church of St. Jiljí dates back to 1279, where the original sacral building stood. Authentic Church of St. Jiljí was probably built in the 13th century with the establishment of this village. The appearance and size of the church changed over time. The first major change came around 1400. Around this year, the reconstruction of the church into a large magnificent church began at the instigation of Peter of Rosenberg. This step testified to the ambitions of Petr of Rožmberk to transform a small town into a large important center. However, these ambitions were thwarted by the Hussite wars. The construction of the current church took place mainly in the years 1480–1507. In July 1507, he was ordained. For many centuries, no significant reconstructions took place in the church. The first reconstructions are not recorded until 1838 and 1891. The reconstruction in 1891 unfortunately affected the Gothic appearance of the church, when the plaster was mostly removed and the interior was modified. The interior of the church was deprived of Baroque furnishings. After 1945, the expulsion of the Germans and the subsequent exchange of inhabitants interfered with the operation of the church. This relocation and relocation dampened the events in the town, and therefore the use of the church, which gradually began to decay. At present, only the most necessary modifications are being made to the church and it is unfortunately only very rarely accessible.

Beautiful, large and interesting church in the village near the border with A. The surrounding area does not have such maintenance, but it can be a period (winter). Unfortunately I couldn't get inside, shame.
