The beautiful church from 1754-1778 was built on the site of the original building from 1310. Today it is nicely repaired, three bells are rare.

Three-nave church of St. Wenceslas and Blažej was built on the place of the originally Gothic church from 1492, where the tombs of the Vartenbergs and Knights of Bünau were found. Originally Gothic, after the burning of the Swedes, the Baroque-rebuilt church was completely destroyed during a city fire in 1749. It was newly built (in late Baroque style) in 1754-1778 but abolished by Joseph II. It was re-ordained in 1878 after it was used as a warehouse. Between 1933 and 1938, the church was the newly built by members of the Jesuit monastery, which was adjacent to it. In the 1950s it stopped serving its original purpose, then it was used as a warehouse of Czechoslovakian sailing. So far, the last reconstruction of the church, which took place at the end of the 20th century, lasted 17 years. The church was re-conceived (benedicated) by Lithuanian Bishop Mons. Josef Koukl on September 28, 1992.
