Zbytečná galerie slovenských mafiánů, jinak stavba samozřejmě nádherná, zvlášť zvenčí.
Useless gallery of Slovak mobsters, otherwise the building is of course beautiful, especially from the outside.

Sloup zhotovil v roce 1631 Václav Raussel a Zachariáš Bossi, pravděpodobně u příležitosti pátého výročí přenesení ostatků sv. Norberta z Magdeburgu do Čech. The Church of St. Roch is a Renaissance church (with Gothic elements) located in the grounds of the Strahov Monastery in Prague. At the beginning of the 17th century it was built by emperor Rudolf II. as a thanks for averting a plague epidemic. The architect of the church is not known, but it was probably a personality associated with the imperial court. Originally it was the parish church of the Strahov monastery. During the reign of Joseph II. it was abolished in 1784 and a nearby monastery church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was declared a parish church. Shortly then it served only as a chapel for the deceased and was subsequently used as a smithy. From the 70s of the 20th century, the exhibition hall is located here. In the neighborhood of the church, in the middle of the Strahov courtyard a stone column of seven meters total height stands, with the statue of Saint Norbert. The pylon is made of coarse-grained Žehrovice sandstone. The column is finished with an ionic head with festoons. The saint holds the monstrance in his right hand and patriarchy cross in the left. Under his right foot the body of the Tanchelma heretic lies. The column was made in 1631 by Václav Raussel and Zacharias Bossi, presumably on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the transfer of the remains of St. Norbert from Magdeburg to Bohemia. The work of art has undergone several modifications. During the last restoration in 2004 a metal roof was restored above the statue.
