The Roman Catholic parish of Bakov nad Jizerou is a territorial community of Roman Catholics in Bakov nad Jizerou and its surroundings. Organizationally, it belongs to the Mladá Boleslav vicariate, which is one of the ten vicariates of the Litoměřice diocese. The parish includes the territory of about 20 municipalities. The rectory building is located on an elevated hill in the village center, next to St. Bartholomew's Church and the Bakov Museum. In front of the building is a beautiful Baroque sandstone statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1731, originally located in an unknown location on the outskirts of the city. It was relocated beyond the church of St. Bartholomew only during the construction of the falconry in 1926.
