Velice dlouhá čekací doba. Z 20 poboček otevřené 4. Založení účtu není možné na dočasný doklad, řidičský průkaz nebo pas.
Very long waiting time. Of the 20 branches open 4. It is not possible to open an account on a temporary document, driver's license or passport.

The worst ČSOB branch that I have ever been in. Tried to open an account twice, first time they didn't even look at my documents, didn't answer the day they promised and I was rejected at the end, second time they asked me to wait almost a week with no information. Never had any problems with other branches, opened an account the very same day in another branch in 15 min. Update: they rejected my request the second time without any explanation (not to mention that I already opened an account in another branch). People in this branch clearly incompetent. Don't go there, you'll lose your time and nerves.

It's horrible, you have to ask yourself what do people here even do in the whole 5 hours that they're there, it's not helping customers. last week was the last drop. I have actual problems with my account that need solving, but noooo you wouldn't find help here. I'd suggest changing banks, it's simpler than having to TAKE TIME OFF YOUR JOB to be then told that THEY ARE FULL AND YOU CAN'T ENTER THE BUILDING.

I wanted to open a bank account because I am an exchange student and needed it for scholarship. They made me fill in a request, so that they can evaluate if I am eligible for their conditions and they promised me to call the next day. They didn't call me, so 2 days later I went again and another bank employee refused to open an account because the minimum period for this service must be 1 year. Nobody informed me about it in the first place! I am very angry about how much of my time was wasted in vain.

With regard to the Jostova situation only, "bank branch" feels like a misnomer - "cash confinement facility with exotic visiting hours" feels closer to the mark. I committed the heresy of wanting to get to my own funds on a Tuesday afternoon and, although the machine generated a ticket for the cash desk as usual, I was informed upon arriving at the only operative cash desk that, in fact, Tuesdays (and Thursdays, lest Tuesday should feel singled out) such was not an option. The term "service" in the vicinity of this farrago is laughable.
