Další kus "Rychtář z Kozlovic" byl sehrán na nově zřízeném divadelním jevišti na Radnici 1. ledna 1837. Do provedení hry nestačili organizátoři pořídit kulisy. Herecký elán tehdejších ochotníků však údajně zcela nahradily tento nedostatek. Hra měla značný úspěch a přinesla na penězích 21 zlatých vídeňské měny. Na jedné straně vyvolávají tyto dobové zprávy milý úsměv na rtech, na druhé budí respekt před skutečně dlouhou bakovskou divadelní tradicí!
