Doerell's prospect is a truly wonderful place. There is a beautiful view of the landscape, but also of the river Elbe. However, mentally the view is rather only on the right (in the left part it somehow "obstructs" the trees). The viewpoint bears the name of the painter Ernst Gustav Doerell (despite the fact that there is allegedly no verified evidence that this is where he sketched the basis for some of his paintings). Part of the view is also a monument - the mound of Ernst Gustav Doerell and a smaller bench. A yellow hiking trail leads to the lookout. It is slightly over 500 meters from the road with a signpost (Doerell's lookout - turn). The road is quite easy to pass. I definitely recommend the visit.
