Pleasant place and beautiful view of the Elbe valley.

Nice dock next to the bike path with the possibility of sitting in the tourist gazebo. Beautiful view on the river Elbe, anchor boat and passing cyclists :-). Near the churches with a bell tower, also a play area. I warmly recommend!

Pier near Porta Bohemica.

Since the summer of 2012, a nice smaller boat pier in Církvice right next to the church has shone on the right bank of the Elbe. There used to be a pier in these places from the 14th century, but it was abolished in 1945. I arrived in the village on a stuffy Sunday afternoon, so transporting it a little down the river came to me as a great idea. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait, even though I waited for over half an hour. The operating rules do not specify specific times, only the hour interval, and unfortunately I was unlucky and hit badly. Like next time. Not far from the pier is a boat mooring, where there is a relaxing gazebo with information panels and a small playground, which are part of the local bike path. An ideal place for a moment's rest. From the summer of 2012 a small boat wharf in Církvice is serving people on the right bank of the Elbe right next to the church. There was a pier in these places since the 14th century, but it was canceled in 1945. I arrived in the village on a super-hot Sunday afternoon, so taking a boat looked like a great idea. Unfortunately, I wasn successfult successful though I waited for half an hour. The operating rules do not specify concrete times, only informs you about an hourly interval, and unfortunately I had a bad luck and missed it, so it´s worth wait if you wanna join the ride. So next time. Not far from the pier is the berth of the boats, with a resting arbor with infopanels and a small children's playground, which are part of the local cycling trail. Ideal place for a relaxing break.
