The church at the Elbe riverbank in Církvice was mentioned in 1357. The current building is a Baroque building dating back to 1701. The church has no tower, only a spire. It is a one-nave oriented structured building with an offset polygonal presbytery. At the northern side there is a sacristy with emporium. Part of the church grounds is an interesting prismatic tower bell tower with half-timbered walls (it is the only half-timbered bell tower in the Czech Republic), also with the statue of St. Jan Nepomucký in front of the church wall and baroque parsonage from the middle of the 18th century, covered by a mansard roof. Classical music concerts are held in the church. Since 1992, the church together with a bell tower has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
