Kostel je obklopen hřbitovem založeným roku 1875, který se v průběhu let rozšiřoval. Kostel je obdélnou jednolodní síní s trojbokým závěrem, sakristií na severní straně a průčelní hranolovou věží. Zevně má kostel opěrné pilíře. Ve věži jsou velká hrotitá okna a klíčová střílna. Horní část věže byla upravena v roce 1881. The impressive church of St. Nicholas is originally a late Gothic sacral building founded in the early 16th century (the tower is from the fourteenth century), which is located just a few dozen meters from the Elbe dock and ferry from Malé Žernoseky village. The church is surrounded by a cemetery founded in 1875, which has been expanding over the years. The church is a rectangular single-nave object with a triple-end closure, a sacristy on the north side and a front prismatic tower. The church has an interesting supporting pillars. In the tower there are large hinged windows and a key-shapped loophole. The upper part of the tower was modified in 1881.
