Na počest významného rodáka Prof. PhDr. Františka Drtiny z nedalekého Hněvšína byla dne 11. července 1926 slavnostně otevřena nová dřevěná rozhledna na vrchu Besedná (496m), který se nachází nedaleko Živohoště. Drtinova rozhledna byla včetně základů 22 m vysoká, ve tvaru husitské hlásky.
