★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They call it boutique cinema. Quite fits. Lot of current festival films are played there.
Must say the coffee is amazing here. Was quite surprised by the high quality. Above standard of Prague as I can tell. The place is bit pricy but for a nice date or enjoyment of the evening it is worth it.
There is interesting aspect of the interior design that appears after the film is finished (but won't spoil the magic for you, so u need to see yourself).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely cinema in a beautiful functionalist building. The bar is well supplied with craft beer on tap and nice snacks.
In summer, the steps double as outdoor seating.
Great film selection. I love the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this cinema! They always have a great selection of films available. Website is easy to navigate, informing you of what language and/or subtitles apply to each movie. Seats are comfy and cinema has a very cozy vibe. There’s also a great cafe within the cinema

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New artsy cinema in Prague downtown. Built inside an old functionalist electricity substation, pure and modern design made this place instantly into a local centre. Pleasant bar, great projection hall with comfy seats and (sofar) good movie selection means that Svetozor and Lucerna nearby have a new competitor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely little modern cinema - one screen but shows a good range of smaller (and sometimes bigger) films. They list on the website what is shown with English or Czech subtitles (or spoken language). The matinee performance is very reasonable at 100kr and the seats are pretty decent and spaced.
The first time I went here they had a slight issue with getting English subs for a listed performance but they emailed me quickly about it in good time and then emailed when it had been rescheduled so I have absolutely no issues with that.
I haven't tried the cafe out front but it looks nice!
