El Camino is a piece of Spain in Prague. Not just the delicately elaborated dishes and the spectacular wines and sherries Or the empathetic, highly trained and skilled service. It is Spain itself. The long meals, the sobremesa, the joyful celebration of a dinner with friends and family. The owner David Böhm has a profound love for Spain, and a culinary sensitivity for flavors, textures, colors and balance of dishes in a menu sequence. His knowledge is based on deeply understanding the produce and the regions where they come from. Each visit is an experience and it gets better every time. Reserve soon, the Restaurant has become a Must Visit in Prague only few months after opening

Is not the typical Spanish restaurant because of the revised food but for sure is one of the best restaurant in Prague. Excellent service, great wine selection and amazing quality food make this place a wonderful food experience. We had high expectations that has been confitmed and even overachieved. The cherry cake was the owner coming to each table to regards the customers. Not for all but all can enjoy this unique restaurant. Guys you deserve the michelin star! Good luck. Hasta pronto!!!

This place is amazingly classy. I went there with 2other friends. My friends had a soup, tapas, and I was given a on the house tapas for me to start eating with my friends?I ordered octopus as a main dish. Everything was amazing. I recommend booking the table early, they get fully booked so easily. They also have tables in the garden ?Go and enjoy your time.

I have a new favorite restaurant! El Camino in Prague is absolutely amazing. David and his staff bring the very best of Spain to Prague. Beautiful food, perfect service and a glorious menu/ wine list. This is an absolute MUST when in Prague.

This place has exceptional food and service. I stopped in here after a long work day hoping to check it out and initially, the server at the door said they were full. However, he then asked me to wait just a minute, poured a glass of the most delicious sparkling wine, and found me a spot. I enjoyed three courses each paired with a wine recommended by the same gentleman, and the entire meal was such a great surprise. For tapas, the portions are quite large. But the flavour combinations were out of this world. The crema de marisco soup in particular is a must-have. The veal pasta was also to die for. And I was pleasantly surprised that my entire bill came in under 40 euros, even with the deliciously matched wines. Highly recommend El Camino when you want to treat yourself and others.

I want to give a 3, but I shall give a 4 for the following reasons. It is hard to find a restaurant that seriously takes the effort to serve high quality dishes and a great selection of wine, on top of excellent table service. The highlight is the waiter who is very polite, professional and knowledgable about the dishes and wine. Individual dish is however, an almost-there moment; it could have been great if only they would or they would not…. You get the idea. Surely they do not claim to serve authentic Spanish food but inspired by it. My first dish was PATATAS A LA IMPORTANCIA CON ALMEJAS. This is probably the best dish of all I have that day. It was elegant, piping hot, and delicious. My second dish was the tuna sashimi. The tuna slices were thick and slightly seared. I did not like the texture because I felt it would have been better if the tuna is not seared at all as the sauce is delicious enough to carry and complement the freshness of the fish. All I tasted was cooked tuna fish which clashes with what my brain was telling me that this should be sashimi. They could even lightly cure the fish instead of searing it too much. My third dish was the seafood paella. On the menu it says baked. The only thing I liked about the dish were the fried salty small prawns on top. It was a modern interpretation and it would not satisfy your craving for that hearty paella served on the pan. The socarrat was almost there but never there. What I found offensive was actually those little drops of what was supposed to be clam reduction. All I tasted from this sauce was just mustard, a very pedestrian taste. I could not care for it and I wish it was not there but it was a lot on the plate and even on the paella itself. The strayed cod with the rice was good and fresh but I am not a fan of cod so I cannot comment there. At least it did not taste like your supermarket frozen cod because that would be euw. I went on to have leche frita for dessert. They brought out a wrong order the first time but they were very apologetic about it so no complaint. The texture and taste of the fried leche were good enough but another item on the plate I found quite offensive was the apricot jam. There was probably a bit too much cardamom, or whatever herb used that it tasted almost like a cough syrup past expiry date. In conclusion, it is still hard to find a restaurant in Prague that strives to deliver excellent food and service like this one but I would not go back for the food.

If you’re in Prague do yourself a favour and go for dinner at El Camino Tapas Restaurant. I’ve eaten at a few nice restaurants while I’ve been in the city but this is exceptional. Food, wine and service are excellent. I cannot wait to go back. Martin who helped us was incredible, we let him select most of our dishes and were happy with all he chose. The wine list is amazing and Martin was so knowledgeable about every wine we drank or enquired about! It’s definitely a 5/5 and I’d give it a higher rating if I could.
