★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The interior is furbished to symbolise typical czech pub of the old times and they did a good job. They serve several types of beer from brewery Kostelec nad Černými lesy. The menu is suitable for the enviroment, especially czech cuisine, although I ordered Game burger and it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The service was kind and fast, prices are average. It is not necessary to have a reservation. It is possible to pay cash only

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting to this place means tasting Czech culture and cuisine. No doubt: it is not a fancy place and I can tell it’s not in the touristic top ten pubs. But that’s why it is certainly a good place where to have a typical meal.
The restaurant-pub offers a wide variety of food and beers (finally not only Pilsner or Kozel) and both is abundant (see the pictures) and good, by now the best I’ve tried in Prague.
The staff is nice: they were surprise (positively I suppose) to see foreigners but they do speak good English. Even when it was closing time, we did not feel pushed out as sometimes may happen.
Closing note: it is really good value for money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local pub/restaurant offering delicious Czech cuisine and numerous beers on the tap from small local breweries. Great lunch menu (served even on weekends).
Various special events (you can check for them on their facebook). Reservation is recommended. Interior is as classical as it gets, service is friendly and able to advice. Certainly worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of a disappointment in the food quality from the last time we visited two years ago. It felt like most of it was prepared beforehand and reheated, and therefore a bit dry. However, the atmosphere and interior are still there, and the place is still not on tourists' radar.
