★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a great to stay if you want to eat some fresh food and enjoy good service. The prices are fair and the wine card provides a good selection. If you are there you have to taste the Pilsen Urquell, and enjoy the five course menu together with the recommend wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I have been regular Customer in El Cid last few month I realized it was high time to share my appreciation for the place and particularly the food. The menu while not extensive is regularly offering new dishes which is good when you become regular. Was never disappointed by any of my choices and today particularly enjoyed Calamari in black sauce as a starter as well as Maminka Veal as main course. Both were simple dish but so well executed and so tasty.
El CID is definitely the best alternative to more traditional Czech brasseries in a much more quiet but warm environment with a nice park surrounding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious tapas place with very fresh food. The patio to sit outside is wonderful to overlook the park with flowers and green space. The acorn-fed ham was most memorable and well worth the price. Service was a little slow, but not bad. Will be back next time in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 week ago, me and my boyfriend arrived quite late, litterally 15 min before they close the kitchen. We ordered chilly pasta and it was so good. The waitresses were really nice to us, and we enjoyed a wonderful terrace, with a great view on a tiny park. It was already dark so altogether magical with the lighting of the night. We will come back for sure to try the paella that seems so good but had a 40min time needed for the kitchen and it was too late for us.
