I was very satisfied with professional and quality service by Mr. Celar from Engels Volkers office in Prague. He helped to make professional presentation of the property, assessed market and connected with several prospective customers. Also he was very good at coordination of requests and activities needed to be done to hand over the apartment to a tenant in relatively short timeframe. I highly recommend Mr. Celar and the related real estate agency and would use it in the future. Thank you

It was so easy to find the perfect place with Ondřej at Engel & Volkers! He made it very easy for us and communicated clearly and quickly with us! Even on the weekends! He helped us find our perfect place and we felt very comfortable working with him. E&V are trustworthy folks when looking to find your home in Prague!

Exceptional service and excellent communication! Couldn't have asked for a better experience than we had with Ondřej. In fact, we had to choose between two apartments we liked and made our decision mostly based on the fact that working with Ondřej was a much more pleasant and professional experience than dealing with the representative from the agency showing the other apartment. Would highly recommend Ondřej to anyone looking for an apartment in Prague.

Very professional people, found an excellent apartment in Prague due to the help of RE broker Ondřej Hlavač. No scam, if you want to book the apartment you like, it is possible to pay broker fee in advance to a separate account; in case the lessor will decide in favour of someone else, the money will return to you. But I booked the place in advance and got it. Would recommend this agency.

You have just leased my apartment in Malatova, after a very difficult 5 months. This would not have been possible without the professional and persistent work put in by one of your team members--Ondrej Hlavac. He is a great asset to your business. I have only ever used your agency and he is a bonus. Great work. Thank you very much.

Not a good experience. I wanted to rent a flat managed by Mr Stanek at E&V - below some comments: 1. This is most important - PLEASE READ THE DRAFT OF THE CONTRACT VERY CAREFULLY. I am not sure if what I got is sth they send to everybody or maybe it is some Mr Stanek's own invention but what I got was totally unbalanced... It is very strict for the tennant and clearly in favor of the owner. One example - the tennant has to to paint all walls in the flat (with colour choosen by the owner;)) before moving out. Not IN CASE YOU DAMEGE IT! NO - you just have to do it in any way. This would be maybe acceptable if the walls were freshly painted before me moving in but...... it was dirty and scratched - clearly painted several years ago. When I started to complain about this condition - the agent said that "with accordance to Czech law I am required to do this if I live in the apartment longer then 3 years". I do not know - maybe this is the case but in the draft there was nothing about those "3 years". If I signed this - even after one year (if I would like to move out) I would have to paint those walls.... What kind of customer service this is (why nothing about those "3 years")??? What kind of nasty condition this is (walls old, scrated and dirty but I have to paint it on my expense after I move out...)? It this your ethic? 2. The agent was very openly speaking that he has a good business with the owner and that he is mainly interested in making him/her happy. This is his own strategy but for me - it was really unprofessional and dissappointing. Over the negotiations (about above mentioned contract issues) he finally said that "The owner is worreid that you have no money because you ask to many questions and want to modify too many points in the contract"... Lovely comment;). Just to make it clear - I was not trying to make any price negotiations - it was only about the tricky contents of the contract. 3. In the ad and during whole discussion at viewing Mr Stanek was claiming that utilities for the flat were 3,000 CZK. He was saying this to us - whole family - when we came for the viewing. Only later (two days later when he was already pushing to get the reservation fee), after I asked him for the cost breakdown of this 3,000 CZK he informed me that it is counted for ONE person. When I told him that it is a bit strange to give this info that late (from the beginning he knew that 4 people will be living there) - he told that it is because he just heard it from the owner. Now - 1,5 week later - the price in the ad is exactly the same. Nothing mentioned about the way utilities are calculated and I do not think this flat will go to person living alone (3+1; over 70m2). I would say this is very far from being ethically correct. 4. Finally - since his first e-mail Mr Stanek main interest was to get so called "reservation fee". He was really focusted on this one - "pay it and send me confirmation!"... Without knowing the details of utilities; with the very risky draft of the contract - you have to pay ASAP. Imagine I payed before I started to ask about utilities. This would be "lovely suprise". (of course the amount for utilities was for some "unknown" reason not mentioned in "reservation aggremen"). There was no deal obviously; I fortunately found something better and directly with no comission (and totally normal, fair contract - Mr Stanek - it is possible!!!). The ad for this apartment is still there so I guess for past 1,5 weeks there was nobody willing to paint walls for Mr Stanek's beloved owner. I just want to say - be careful, ask details and read what they send you. Definately do it BEFORE you pay the reservation fee. After you pay - it is already too late. Wish you all better experience then mine!

We had the best possible experience buying a flat in Prague with Engel & Voelkers. Right from the start, Jiri Hecka dealt with our requests promptly and to our full satisfaction. We got an appointment to view the flat immediately and were sent extensive materials listing everything you need to know when making such a purchase (including very detailed floor plans and reconstruction plans). Our emails with follow-up questions were always answered without delay. So we can report complete client satisfaction and highly recommend E&V in general and Mr Hecka in particular.
