★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Původní provedení z minulé doby bylo hezčí. V letních měsících tam byla nasazena okrasná ryba. Původní stavba lépe ladila s okolím.
The original design from the past was nicer. In the summer months, ornamental fish were deployed there. The original building harmonized better with the surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Desetitunová kašna s tryskami a motivem pěti symbolických pramenů zdobí prostor před starou radnicí od roku 2014, kdy probíhala velká úprava celého náměstí. Vodní závoj tvoří osmačtyřicet trysek, dílo je i barevně nasvíceno. Práce zaměstnala čtyři kameníky a kamenosochaře. V Mrákotíně nejdříve vybrali žulový kvádr o rozměrech 5 x 5 x 2,5 metru a váze přes 80 tun. Ten navrtali a rozpůlili, potom kámen v lomu přemístili dál od stěny a opracovali postupně do tvaru mísy, která má v průměru 4 metry a váží 10 tun. Další práce pak probíhaly přímo na náměstí. Do města jsem přijel uprostřed zimy, takže jsem kašnu bohužel neviděl v plné parádě, ale těším se na léto.

The water veil is created forty-eight jets and is also illuminated in colors. The work employed four stonemasons and stone sculptors. In Mrákotín, they first selected a granite block measuring 5 x 5 x 2.5 meters and weighing over 80 tons. They drilled and halved it, then moved the stone in the quarry away from the wall and worked it gradually into a bowl that is 4 meters in diameter and weighs 10 tons. Further work was carried out directly on the square. I arrived in the city in the middle of winter, so unfortunately the fountain was covered, but I look forward to summer.
