Připomíná svým tvarem kardinálského klobouku bitvy u Domažlic, která se odehrávala ve zdejší oblasti 14 srpna 1431. V této bitvě porazila husická vojska pod velením kněze Prokopa Holého téměř bez boje. Křižácké vojsko vedené markrabětem Fridrichem Braniborským a kardinálem Juliánem Cesarinim. Gloriet klobouk stojí zřejmě na místě starší dřevěné stavby z roku 1723. Gloriet byl postaven v období romantismu kolem roku 1824 kdy dál majitel panství Jan Filip František Josef Stadion upravit Koutský zámeček a jeho okolí. Ke glorietu tenkrát vedla přímo od nádvoří zámečku cesta se stromořadím. Podle jedné pověstí byl gloriet postaven v místě kde kardinál Cesarini na svém útěku před husity ztratil svůj klobouk, zlatý kříž a listiny. Gloriet snad byl původně podepírá dřevěnými trámy, při rekonstrukci prováděné v roce 1973 byl údajně nalezen letopočet 1723, který patrně souvisel se stavbou, která Glorietu předcházela - dřevěný altán. Dřevěná konstrukce s letopočtem při opravě v roce 1973 bohužel shořela. Roku 2006 prošel Gloriet celou rekonstrukci. Je to krásný Gloriet, doporučuji navštívit tuto krásnou památku a odpočinout si zde. Unfortunately, the wooden structure with the year during the repair in 1973 burned down. In 2006, Gloriet underwent a complete renovation.
