★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A classic Karlovy restaurant which was recommended to me by multiple friends who have visited the city before. Great Czech and German food with an incredible selection of Bernard beer, which I consider to be the best of Czech beers. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff I've experienced in Europe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious traditional food. Lots of options. We waited 40 minutes to get our food though (even an appetizer, which then all came at the same time). It was 1:30 in the afternoon so they weren’t super busy either. They have high chairs and take card.

We had a goulash and duck and both courses were tasty and pretty big. Bernard beer was also very good. Staff was really good and service was fast.
Also it’s a dog friendly restaurant!! ♥️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We sat outside for dinner which was very nice. It took over an hour for any food to arrive which seemed to be out of character for the place. People wanting to sit down to eat were warned after a while that there would be a delay of an hour and a half at least. Some people around us cancelled their food order and just paid for drinks and left. The waiter was honest about the time it would take to get the food after a while. When the food did come it was lovely. Beer was very nice too. Staff were pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very surprised visiting this restaurant. First, nice clean place with very helpful stuff. Amazing menu with realistic pictures of meal or drinks you will order. Finally meal surprisingly really matches the pictures in the menu, also very delicious. Prices are not as high as in other restaurants in the area. beer excellent and well treated

It has great beer selection and the food is amazing as well.
The staff also is very welcoming.
Also the prices are cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We usually avoid places like that. But the wifey wanted something simple and closeby, so we walked in on a monday evening. We thought it would be one of those tourist traps, but it was a total surpise. Very good food, very friendly staff. We will definately come back. My wife is not a friend of dumplings, so she ordered mashed potatoes instead, just in case you are wondering, why they are none on the plate with the duck:)
