Golden Prague Rooms

Our room was very clean and well presented, bed was incredibly comfortable. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. Particularly glad they had a coffee machine in the room as well, having a morning coffee on the balcony was lovely.

We stayed at the hotel for one week. The room was fantastic! We had a room with the balcony and I actually enjoyed the inner courtyard view. The hotel is super close to the city center so by the end of the stay we walked around the city without the help of Google maps since we remembered all the streets near the hotel and in the city center. The receptionists were super kind and kindly helped with all of our requests. Next time in Prague I'd pick this hotel again without hesitation. The elevator worked all the time, we also had a fan in our room and coffee. One suggestion I'd like to make: It'd be nice if housekeeping could also clean the balcony or at least sweep it. Other than that the hotel is perfect! Thank you.

The hotel is very good. the rooms are big and clean. the rooms was a little hot because there is no airconditioner but there is a good fun. the curtains dont seal the room to light but it is not a big deal. the location is fantastic, very close to the main atractions. it was a pleasure.

Location was really good and the rooms were clean, too bad there are no slippers available. The most irritating was that the walls are really thin, you can hear everything that the other guests do. Talking, singing, screaming. The tv had a bright light underneath, which brightend the whole room. We had to cover it with a t-shirt in order to sleep. The curtains didn’t cover the whole window, so there was a bit of light coming in.

Arrived in prague at another hotel that was a nightmare, we were originally going to book this hotel but couldn’t get a balcony room. So headed straight here after the whole fiasco and wish I booked here in the first place. The girls were so nice and helpful after we explained the situation and gave us our room for the discounted rate online to save us the hassle of booking again. When we arrived at our room everything was so clean and it is definitely one of the nicest hotels I’ve been to. It’s very close to the old town and Charles bridge so you don’t feel like you’re walking forever. I’ve recommended this place to a few friends and if I ever come again will be the place I book.

1: we were impressed with the interior design of the hotel rooms (colors, bathroom) and the location (so close to the city center of Prague). 2: we liked the location the most. We also liked the housekeeping which did a great job and the kindness of your staff when we needed or asked something. 3: there were a few things we didn’t like. We stayed in room 102 and if we would open a window, the smoke of people smoking below (right in front of hotel) would come right into our room. An assigned place for people to smoke - elsewhere - would’ve been helpful. There was no thermostat for us to regulate the heat in the room ourselves. Which resulted in us waking up a lot due to it being so warm. And we couldn’t open the window, because of the smoking people right outside our window. The rooms were VERY noisy. We could hear everything our neighbors did. Next to us was apparently a group of girls who liked to talk all night - till like 3 AM in the morning - and therefore we were up until 3AM in the morning. The walls are definitely too thin. The absolute worst thing was the bed. It was too hard. We wanted to leave because of the bed, but didn’t get our money back and we already fully paid. Back home now my back is in one big knot due to the hard bed. We now have to go to a chiropractor to loosen up our backs. Overall I did like our stay, but mostly because we had such a great time in Prague and doing fun stuff. I would recommend people to stay at your hotel for the location. If you could improve on the other topics, (Thicker walls, assigned smoke area, own thermostat in room, new beds), that would make your hotel perfect.

Excellent location, and kind reception staff! My room wasn’t cleaned on two occasions, so was disappointed about that, especially because I pointed it out to the reception. Very good value! Staircases and facilities are very basic, but clean.
