Hendlův dvůr

The original Šárecký dvůr - the former nobility court of U Matěje - even about three nos. 1, 3 and 5, in the vicinity of the church complex of St. Matěje is a real decoration of the northwestern tip of Dejvice above the slopes of the Šárka Valley. The court stands on the site of an old Šárka tavern, documented in writing as early as 1551. The Classicist reconstruction took place after 1803. The name of the court comes from the 19th century, when it belonged to Antonín Hendl from 1873, who built house No. 152 in 1880 and . Today's appearance dates from the 18th century, along with younger modifications. Significant reconstruction and completion took place between 2015 and 2018 according to the project of Petr Burian, Pavel Uttendorfský and Jiří Vojtěšek from the DaM studio.
