Jaroslav Brouk (zakladatel obchodních domů Brouk a Babka), architekt a stavitel František Lhoták, či operní režisér a pěvec Luděk Mandaus. With the increasing number of inhabitants of Holešovice, a small cemetery near St. Kliment´s church ceased to be sufficient, so therefore the municipality purchased a plot of land at the "Královská obora" park, just beside the Buštěhrad´s Railroad Viaduct, to establish a new cemetery in 1873. Saint Vitus´ canon Eduard Tersch ordained it at the end of June 1874. The burial was banned in 1914, and the design of an urn grove was elaborated in 1941. Numerous prominent personalities were buried in the cemetery, such as Jaroslav Brouk (founder of the Brouk and Babka department stores), architect and builder František Lhoták, or the opera director and singer Luděk Mandaus).

A beautiful, intimate building on the sidelines, I got there by accident. Nice place to take a break from the busy street for a moment
