In fact, there were holy stairs and it should be appreciated that for the possible completion of the worksheet, little attention would follow ?

K sestupu a výstupu slouží boční schodiště. The Holy Steps (Sancta Scala) symbolize the staircase in the palace of Roman Governor Pilate Pontius in Jerusalem, after which Jesus repeatedly ascended for the death sentence. The original marble stairs were brought to Europe in the 4th century and are now worshiped in a detached chapel near the Basilica of Sts. Johns at Lateran in Rome. They have a precisely specified number of degrees (28), and the faithful follow them only as a kneeling sign of respect and repentance. The side staircase is used for descent and ascent.
