Tyto kaple byly stavěny po celé Evropě především v 16. až 18. století jako jeden z projevů barokní zbožnosti. Uvnitř lorety se nachází socha Černé matky Boží Loretánské, pocházející z roku 1694, zhotovená v Římě a požehnaná papežem Inocencem XII. Po svém požehnání byla vystavena osm dní v italském Loretu, kde ji mohli poutníci veřejně uctívat, a poté byla osobně knížetem Antonínem Florianem Lichtenštejnem přenesena do Rumburku. Loretas are special types of chapels in style imitating the Holy Hut in Loreto - the legendary dwelling of the Virgin Mary, where Jesus Christ was to be conceived virginally from the Holy Spirit. These chapels were built throughout Europe, especially in the 16th to 18th centuries as one of the manifestations of Baroque piety. Inside the Loreto there is a statue of the Black Mother of God Loreto, dating from 1694, made in Rome and blessed by Pope Innocent XII. After its blessing, it was exhibited for eight days in Loreto, Italy, where pilgrims could publicly worship her, and then it was personally transferred by Prince Antonin Florian Liechtenstein to Rumburk. Parkovat lze přímo v ulici zdarma. Beautiful place from which stinks genius loci. One comes to have entered the heavenly paradise. Certainly recommend to visit. Always friendly staff and nice environment. Free parking is available on the street.
