★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old and grubby . Needs a coat if paint everywhere. Had to park 5 minutes walk away as there was no parking space available outside. Internet doesn't work. Plugs didn't work. Thin walls will keep you up all night if you have room neighbours "that talk". Only redeemable features are nice little breakfast and cleanliness. But it's a grubby, out of fashion, old hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though it is a very old style hotel it is clean, the staff is wonderful and they offer free lunch included (which has a variety of stuff and its amazing). The only thing is that heating might not work and it is not so easy to find it since it is not in a principal street. Price is ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good budget hotel.
I am satisfy with both room we get here since past time one is a little bit small but for this price i wont expect biggest room in the world . Overall it is good hotel 5 min to the metro 10 min to the market also there is a really good asian restaurant along the way to the metro .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special. Also at breakfast you are lucky to find some bread in the basket. The kitchen staff don't refill it and also the coffee machine isn't monitored daily so you don't always get milk in your cappuccino. Lots of inconsistencies in the breakfast presentation.
The room was clean and we got clean towels daily. However it does look dated with dark woods used throughout and a tv that was smaller than a pc monitor.
It was very close to the metro, about 5 minutes walking which was a plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is quite great, only 13min away by metro/train/U-Bahn /subway ?. The stations are also close by. It was important for us, because we visited Prague for touristic purposes.
Breakfast was included in our booking, and it was at a good time in the morning, the food was decent, however if you're vegan, the choices are just vegetables ?, FYI.
The room was quite great for us, very spacious, bathroom and toilet were separate, also a super nice feature. The room was very clean. Big windows, which is very helpful especially when it's hot. The staff is friendly, you can also pay directly in euro. Bed sheets, towels, and other necessities are included. Overall, definitely recommended. We'd stay again ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reception is okay, bit dark, and the rooms are aged okay. Overall the place was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good, especially given the price you pay for this hotel.
The keys to the room are attached to these large and bulky wooden "chess pieces". Quirky.
The blinds are not very good, so if you're sensitive to light during the night, be aware, especially if your room faces the street and is close to the main hotel sign!
It's a relatively quiet street.
The hotel is close to the metro (up a slight hill), and takes around 15 min to get to the old town in the centre.
If you're look for an affordable, no thrills hotel and don't mind the Metro, Hotel Astra is fine.
