★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very very clean and friendly staff explain where to go, how to get there. We had even a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. It is the best location just 3 minutes from the subway!! Thank you very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Merkur hotel on Valentine's day. Lady behind the desk was super helpful and friendly. Then we came to our room and couldn't believe what we saw.
We get red wine and champagne for free and bed full of rose petals and heart chocolate. On the check out we were treated to complimentary home made jam again like a little thank you and the guy behind the desk again super helpful and smiley. We definitely recomend. Great price, amazing staff and awesome location. Thank you so much we definitely think of you when next visiting Prague!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience in hotel Merkur has been great! The hotel is in a good location next to the center of the city with easy access in the metro and busses. Our room was clean and a wine bottle was given to us as a welcoming gift. Very thoughtful! The staff has been very polite and especially Vladimir in the reception has been exceptionally helpful. Sure it will be our first choice in the future when we revisit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is an absolute gem. Right on the outskirts of downtown, it was a quiet retreat, it was sparkling clean, and perhaps newly refurbished, the staff were all friendly and helpfully spoke both English and Russian for the guests. Breakfast was absolutely worth the cost and the hotel does have wifi - I wasn't sure from the website. The beds were extremely comfortable even if the shower was small.
I wish I had been able to stay longer and I am already planning my next trip back, where I will be sure to stay.
The only downside is it not comfortably disability accessible, but it is also in a 500 year old building.
