★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's just say major stains on mattresses and sheets. Had to take covers off of comforters to cover the bed to sleep the 1st night. 2nd day I turned mattresses myself, and they brought new sheets (also stained). So .......
Food is awesome, but no communications in English at all (front desk or restaurant). WIFI is the best of any place I have ever stayed, so Google Translate works LoL. OH ... WIFI ONLY WORKS DOWNSTAIRS!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warm stay in windy Shumava. Small lobby decorated with old skies and other stuff. We ordered extra bed, so the room was full with it. Tasty breakfast, good dishes in the evening, excellent nature and silence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel with a large enough bike room for storing bikes. The rooms were clean, but there is very little storage space for clothes. We had just a few hangers in our closet.

Atmosphere is great, hotel is clean but sanitair needs a huge face lift. Room pictures are outdated and flattered.
And a must go: super restaurant from same owner!!
The restaurant however remains great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely traditional mountain hotel. we stayed in roof apartment which was very nice and bright! Only curtains missing which is really an issue if you want your kids to fall asleep at 20.00..Food is Czech traditional kitchen..loved Kulajda and the best Aperol Spritz in town..( big and tasty) they even made special pasta for our kids as they are not fun of czech kitchen therefore 5*for service and friendliness and being supportive! I wish hotel Modrava many good years ahead!
