To say I’m excited to write this review is an understatement. I haven’t come across a worse hotel in Europe, and it wasn’t the hotel- it was the staff. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with arrogance, ignorance and sarcasm. Breakfast included, which was good for what you pay, however when in the restaurant I was made to empty my pockets because staff believed I had taken something to leave the restaurant with. Nothing but an unwelcome feeling everytime I was in the hotel. Staff need to learn how to actually greet and welcome their guests, not accuse and be blatantly rude to visitors. It’s a hotel, and you work there, learn some proper manners and behaviour if you want good reviews. I’ve informed multiple people of the disrespect of the staff and to not book at this hotel. By the looks of the replies from staff to people who have also complained, it seems my statements aren’t false. Thank you for an interesting experience :-). R.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Olga, it exceeded our expectations by far. We read the other reviews the day before we were set to leave for Prague, these made us very sceptical of where we were staying for the next two nights. We were greeted very warmly as we arrived on thursday night by the staff. The room was clean and warm, basic but perfect for what we needed. Based on the reviews, we were expecting a very basic breakfast but were pleasantly surprised, much more food than expected and all of good quality! We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Olga and would really recommend to any couples or families looking for a cheap stay close to the centre of Prague. Extra thanks to the staff for letting us leave our bags so long after our checkout time.

Cozy and clean rooms with a nice shower. In my opinion the beds could be a little softer. The breakfast was okay and the staff was helpful. The location was really quiet with some restaurants and bars around. It's about 15 minutes with the tram to the city center. All in all I can recommend this hotel.

Too bad, everything in it is old and the pillows are almost non-existent. I suffered from neck pain because of it I would never recommend it to anyone

I don't recommend the place. The place is old and cheap. The building is old and it really needs to be renewed. The doors are thin, so in the morning you can hear all the people coming and leaving. In the room, the power plugs are in hard to reach places and some of them damaged. The light interruptors are also located in wierd places. Despite it claims to have WiFi, it should be dial up from 1991 because it can hardly open a web site or sends an email. The breakfast is not good neither. Both the coffee and the juice are heavily diluted in water. It is not Possible to toast the bread (if there is a toaster I can't find it). The staff really tryed its best and the room is clean, but the place these facts don't compensate all the weak points. It is say is a 3 star hotel, I don't think it can even reach one.

This is a place you go to if your standard is "I don't want cockroaches under my bed". We arrived at 5 pm and no one was at the desk. We had to call the emergency number, and a man told us very rudely to keep ringing. After 10 minutes or so, a woman finally shows up to her job. We immediately get asked to pay a 2€ per person city tax, per night. A quick Google research showed me the tax was 0,60€ per person, but I had a whole week to stay and I decided to let it slide. The room is furnished with old Ikea stuff. In the 7 nights me and my family were there, we had to ask for clean towels after 4 days, because they'd just fold the ones we had already used, with mascara stains and all. The first night I put my beauty blender on the bathroom shelf and left a bit of make up on it. That stain on the shelf greeted me at the hotel for the entire week, as our room was cleaned exactly once in 7 nights, if you consider quick vacuuming cleaning. There was mold and hair on the soap we were graciously provided with. I had ham and cheese for breakfast for the entire week, because nothing else looked appetizing: the frosting on the stale, sad cupcakes we were offered was barely holding itself up. We had to put our dishes back on a white shelf by ourselves. The staff treats you like you're a great inconvenience to their day, and the lady at the desk gave us the wrong tramrail number to come back at the hotel. Every morning, in spite of having no more than 20 guests on their busies day, we were asked very aggressively which room we were in. I'm really sorry for having stayed so long in your business, I PROMISE that's never happening again. We paid 580€ for this stay, 7 nights for three people. I had found a cheaper hotel, but sadly it didn't have a room available for the whole week. I regret not booking a hostel, that would maybe have been cleaner. Being a cheap hotel doesn't mean you shouldn't even vacuum the guests' room and give clean towels, and a smile and welcoming attitude cost exactly 0 crowns. The only good thing about this hotel is that it's really near to the city center. Definitely not coming back, and there's not enough reasons to say you should book here.

We arrived to a room that was in need of care and looking after, the paint was coming off the walls , the curtains didn’t keep any light out , the doors on wardrobes were damaged and the room was very dusty. The next morning breakfast was very poor very minimal choices and the staff wasn’t very welcoming . After breakfast we went to get showered and ready for the day and there was no water and when it came back it was brown water . After this we decided to leave and complain about the hotel standard and the response we received was ‘ you booked the worst hotel in Prague what did you expect’

Friendly stuff, a little old equipment, the breakfast was all right. Basically it's a simple cheap option, if you don't have big needs. The thicker curtain still let some lights in from the street, which can be a problem if someone doesn't sleep well. The receptionists were kind and helpful.
